National Park Migratory Birds Center

A Research Center under the National Park Service as a part of the Ministry of Environment, specialized in monitoring ecological changes in migratory birds of Korea.

Korea Heritage Service / Getbol as World Heritage

Getbol, or Korean Tidal Flats, is listed as UNESCO World Heritage within Republic of Korea.

eBird: South Korea

A citizen science online database and platform of bird observations that provides realtime data on bird distribution and abundance. Launched by Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Merlin Bird ID App

A free global bird guide app with photos,
sounds, maps, and more, to help identify birds that users see or hear. Developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology

AviList

A Unified Global Checklist of the World’s Birds, created by experts in taxonomy, nomenclature, and biodiversity informatics from around the world.

EAAFP

East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership is an international non-governmental organization aiming to protect migratory waterbirds and the livelihood of the people dependent on them of the EAAFlyway. The secretariat is based in Songdo, ROK.

Society of Ecological Restoration

International Society of over 5,000 members from 130+ countries who foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise among ecological restoration practitioners and scientists from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.

Ramsar

Ramsar is the international convention on Wetlands, which serves as the intergovernmental treaty that provides the framework for the conservation and wise use of wetlands.

Wetlands International

A global Nonprofit organization dedicated ot the conservation and restoration of wetlands, for their environmental value as well as for the services they provide to people.

UNESCO MAB

UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme is an intergovernmental scientific programme that aims to establish a scientific basis for enhancing the relationship between people and their environments. It also manages a World Network of 759 Biosphere Reserves in 136 countries.

BirdLife International

International partnership of non-governmentla organizations that strives to conserve birds and their habitats.

IUCN

International Union for Conservation of Nature is a membership Union of government and civil society organisations aimed to advance sustainable development and a just world that values and conserves nature. It is a global and science-led authority on the status of the natural world, most notably with its twice-annual publication of the Red List of Threatened Species, which aid in setting conservation priorities.

IOU

Formerly the International Ornithological Congress, International Ornithologists' Union is a global discipline addressing all levels of avian biology in birds from ecosystems to molecules, linking basic and applied research, and nurturing education and outreach.

International Crane Fountation

International nonprofit conservation organization that works to conserve alll 15 species of cranes globally and the ecosystems, watersheds, and flyways on which they depend.
